Salt Lake Eat Local Week seeks to create a more robust local food network by increasing awareness of our foodshed, providing information and resources for eating locally, and building a community hungry for local food--making Utah a more nourishing place.

 

Join us at the various events taking place, pledge to be a part of the challenge, and join the conversation with your community!

Farm to Street Cook-off Party

*Be a judge in the local-food cook-off block party! Salt Lake's best food trucks, activities, demo's, great music, and dancing in the street!

*Meet the mixers, meet the farmers, and find out who the farm-to-glass cocktail winner is. Purchase tickets in advance.

THE CHALLENGE

The Challenge is simple, eat as local as you can. The standard challenge is only eating food that comes from within a 250 mile radius. Not ready for that? Come up with a challenge that works for you! Choose a couple of food groups to get locally and stay true to them. Be creative, challenge yourself, and have fun!
